You do what it takes to get a job... I think it went okay. I'm not feeling 100% so it was hard to pick up on a vibe, but it seemed positive. Don't know anything other than that. Supposed to hear back tomorrow, so I guess we will see. If I don't get it I don't get it I guess. Simple as that.

A tad bit to windy still, but over all not to bad at all. Which is good since I drove 3 hours right after the interview. Now I'm going to bed because I'm exhausted...

Haven't heard anything so I doubt I'll get it. Which is fine. It was a part time job where I would only teach 3 real classes and the rest of the day would be supervision stuff. I think I would get bored. Oh well.

wow, has it really been that long? Time is sure flying by quickly.

Was just remembering where I was 10 years ago--and what I was doing back then. I was still living in japan and working in a high school teaching (gee common thread here?). Lots of stuff has happened since then, cant believe its been that long.

yep it does.

talked with my sister in law, and my nephew (the one with the phd) has been interviewing as well (for college prof)...and he hasnt been doing well either, and he graduated from college in the top 1% of his class (no idea how well he did in grad school and such)....so the search is still pretty hard. Hubby says more cutbacks at his office too--guess that 'recession' isnt quite over for the most of us yet.

well, at least the weather is nice. (for a change)

Hit 83 here today. Which was great and all. Spent most of the day driving. It rained when I left the apartment and then got super windy as I got closer to our other apartment... Like what the heck weather? Rainy and cool to hot and windy. Just another day in good old Illinois.

yeah we got pretty warm here too and yes rain and thunder too....and yeah, that's pretty much how spring and summer are in the midwest--you can have snow in the morning and 70's by afternoon.

yeah, the car got a nice bath (needed it--seems its tree pollen time so the grey car was very yellowish)...and it was supposed to rain all day today....we had dark clouds, but nary a drop of water fell here, yeup, gotta wonder.

Putting new tires on my car tomorrow after work. I'm done with the hydroplaning thing. It just isn't fun anymore.

The ones I currently have are the original tires I believe. So 5 year old tires. They did well up until the later part of winter and now. They are down to 4/32, so ya, they need to be changed. Getting some Cooper CS5's put on, those should be awesome. My parents mini-van has them on and they have been great for it when I have been driving it. So ya.

had a bit cooler day yesterday, was nice to have the doors open without the a/c coming on..not looking forward to this summer when they have already said the temps for this weekend are going to be in the 70's (with possibly hitting 80

)....looks to be another hot summer coming our way.

They are good. Definitely a new ride now.

Was warm here yesterday, warm here again today, and warm tomorrow. Storms tomorrow though. Definitely going to be a warm summer.
